    Skala Village, located on the southern coast of Kefalonia, is a perfect blend of natural beauty and modern amenities.

    Fiskardo

    Fiskardo, about 50 kilometres north of Argostoli, is the only village on Kefalonia that escaped undamaged from the earthquake.

    The village is almost intact, most of the old Venetian houses are still extant.

    When one see how nice it is in Fiskardo one curse the earthquake, this is how beautiful all the villages on Kefalonia could have been.

    Many think that Fiskardo is the island's most beautiful village, there are even those who think it is the whole archipelago's most beautiful village.

    When I first came to Fiskardo, I did it by ferry from Lefkada, we were greeted by an adorable sight.

    One of my travelling companions said with a sigh: "This is the most beautiful spot I've seen in Greece".

    Lourdas

    Lourdas is a quaint coastal settlement located 16.7 km southeast of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia.

    The settlement stands on the hillside overlooking the blue sea. It is quite popular for its well-organized beach where many visitors enjoy a refreshing swim, right after their arrival to the village.

    The beach of Lourdas is surrounded by a green landscape with thick vegetation and beautiful waterfalls running through the mountains.

    The combination of the crystalline waters and stunning mountain backdrop of Mount Ainos provides a dream scenery that captivates all visitors.

    The beach is covered with white sand and sunbeds and umbrellas.

    Katelios

    Katelios is a small fishing village on the southeast coast of Kefalonia, 32 km from Argostoli.

    Once a quiet settlement of fishermen’s cottages, it has grown into a popular yet tranquil destination, first attracting locals for its seafood taverns and now visitors from further afield.

    The village consists of Ano Katelios, home to permanent residents, and Kato Katelios, where most tourist accommodations are found.

    Despite its growth, Katelios has kept its authentic charm, offering peaceful surroundings, green landscapes, and a relaxing atmosphere ideal for couples, families, and nature lovers seeking a quiet escape.
