Explore two of Kefalonia’s most famous natural landmarks on a half-day trip to Drogarati Cave and Melissani Lake, with a scenic photo stop above Myrtos Beach.

After pick-up, we begin with an approx. 45-minute drive through Kefalonia’s countryside to Drogarati Cave, located nearly 60 metres below ground. Discovered around 300 years ago after an earthquake revealed its entrance, the cave impresses with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites, beautifully lit to highlight the formations. During a 40-minute visit, you’ll also see the cave’s grand chamber, the “Hall of Apotheosis.”

On the way to Melissani Lake, we pass by Mount Ainos as your guide shares local stories and interesting facts about the island. At Melissani, descend into the cave and enjoy a short rowboat ride across its crystal-clear waters—an unforgettable experience as sunlight pours into the cavern.

Before returning, we make a brief photo stop at the stunning viewpoint over Myrtos Beach and the Ionian Sea, then head back to your pick-up location.
